THE NUMBERS ON YOUR TANK LINER
On the outside of every tank liner we manufacture there will be a number written in several different places. No, this is not some marking of the Illuminati! The numbers are simply the order number of the tank liner itself.
The manufacturing process of a drop in liner begins with cutting the needed pieces from the material roll good stock. By marking the pieces with the order number we are able to track the different pieces through the fabrication steps and it helps to keep them grouped together.
The number is placed on what is the outside of the tank liner. When a tank liner needs to be replaced those numbers should still be legible. If so, with that number we can quickly cross reference the liner in our system. We can get the date of manufacture, shop dimensions, any drawings associated with the liner as well as original application information supplied. The entire history of the liner can be traced with that number.
