Flexible PVC liners are an excellent method of providing corrosion resistance to concrete containment areas. In many cases, these areas will contain tanks, walkways, support beams or similar items that have a significant weight load.

TANK LINERS AND OVERFLOW WEIRS

Electroless nickel plating (ENi) is a process where the metal deposit is made by a chemical reaction versus an electric current. A traditional heavy gauge PVC tank liner can handle the solution but it may not be the most practical way to protect your tank.

CAN LINERS BE INSTALLED IN COLD TEMPERATURES?

With the proper planning or site considerations PVC liners can be installed in cold temperatures. Once in service PVC liners maintain their properties well below freezing, however, during installation the liner and sometimes the area to be lined need to be maintained at higher temperatures.

CONTAINMENT LINERS AND COLD TEMPERATURES

As everyone should know by now, flexible PVC liners are a great answer for corrosion resistance needs in secondary containment areas. PVC liners are quicker to install than coatings, typically have a much longer service life, and most importantly flexible liners are not affected when the concrete cracks.
